On this occasion, the idea materialises in a door that takes on the metaphor of the threshold that separates two realities, the waking body and the sleeping body, control and the lack of it. When Núria, the curator, invited us to be part of the exhibition and to situate ourselves at the point of entry, we decided to make a door, a door with objects that are part of our practice. One of our practices is to sleep with people, in what we call the Sleepers' Club, a space to share sleep, or the lack of it, in a collective way. El frío antes de caer, is a door made with the blankets used in these meetings, it is an image of objects made to be in the horizontal, raised to the vertical, it is a perverse image of something soft, almost touching the wall, it is a soft materiality of large scale that sometimes disturbs and sometimes softens the head, it is a pictorial work using what the eye sees, some used blankets hung up.
